Queensland Physio Group operates six physiotherapy clinics across the Gold Coast — Worongary, Oxenford, Coombabah, Robina, Mt Tamborine, and Helensvale. Each location serves a different community, but the website treated them all the same.

The problem

The practice had six locations but poor visibility in local search for any of them. Location pages lacked relevance — generic content that could describe any physio clinic anywhere. Organic traffic was minimal. Existing Google Ads spend wasn't converting because the campaigns weren't structured around location-specific intent.

Competing against established practices in every suburb required a strategy that could rank each location independently while building the overall brand — not a single homepage trying to serve six different communities.

What we delivered

A three-phase strategy combining location-specific SEO, technical optimisation, and targeted Google Ads — executed over six months.

Location page optimisation

Each clinic received a dedicated page with location-specific content — nearby landmarks, local services, community context, and specialties relevant to that suburb's demographics. Not templated copy with the suburb name swapped in.

Technical SEO implementation

Local Business schema markup for every location, internal linking strategy connecting service pages to location pages, Google Business Profile management for all six clinics, and structured data that search engines could actually use.

Location-specific Google Ads

Campaign structure built around each location rather than the practice as a whole. Geographic targeting focused on the suburbs surrounding each clinic. Budget allocated based on performance data, not evenly split.

Performance-based resource allocation

Monthly analysis of which locations were generating the most enquiries and which keywords were converting. Budget and content effort shifted toward what was working rather than maintaining a fixed plan.
